I need to get back into…
…Writing. More than just this weblog, I’m thinking. I’m imagining myself once again stimulating the unused and neglected nodes of my brain to be revived and ready to provide me with the necessary imaginative qualities to produce works which convey my deepest emotions. This could be in the form of poetry or prose, simply anything which I find delight in expressing myself. I believe the old adage, ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’ has more meaning in its reciprocal – ‘A word is worth a thousand pictures.’ Myself being a visually driven individual, one who has inherent spatial ‘brilliance’ (no immodesty intended) works of art appeal greatly to me, whether on the canvas of a great painter, or on the monitor of an undiscovered Photoshop prodigy. These all are fine, but there is something about the written word, something that has the inherent ability to convey a hundred visual interpretations if one has the capacity for such creativity. I admire the way in which the pigment from the pen of a talented writer can serve the purpose of filling the reader with scenes of various textures of emotion, to take one away from reality into a world of phantasmic proportion. Pure phantasm, of course. How I wish my own pen could do the same.
I’m like a hunter of peace…
…One who chases the elusive mayfly of love…or something like that. You might be wondering how I suddenly found an interest in a show. An anime series, at that. But it’s TriGun! Who couldn’t love it? Besides, it’s all Wesley’s fault that I had a newfound obsession. Well, it’s not really an obsession, it’s just something that has now seemed to pervade into my normal computer habits…MSN, Facebook, etc…I mean, it appeals to my manly tendencies *cough* to refer to myself as Vash the Stampede. Or Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gombigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andri Charton-Haymoss Ivanovici Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser III. Dont hesitate to call. Of course all that goes without wanting the 60 billion double dollar bounty on his head. That would be an annoyance…but think of all the attention…
Hello world!
I think I’ll leave the default title as it sounds as concisely stated as I could ever get to. The fascinating world of blogging, the activity by which people express their emotions, confide their thoughts, and flame at their next-door neighbour’s dog into the memory of an online databank. For sake of ‘going with the flow’ I have decided to put one up myself. Besides, isn’t it cool to be just like everybody else?
